The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Sen Yunus Akintunde Phd, has officially signed the presidential nomination form of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in support of his second-term bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In line with the party’s nomination process, each state of the federation nominated one representative, with Senator Akintunde emerging as the designated nominee from Oyo State.
Also present at the signing were the Leader of the Senate, Sen Opeyemi Bamidele, Sen Mohammed Tahir Monguno, and Alhaji Jibril Isa Echocho, alongside other prominent Nigerians who endorsed and signed the presidential nomination form of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking after the exercise, Senator Akintunde reiterated his support for the administration and its developmental agenda.
“We remain united in our commitment to his vision and the continued progress of Nigeria,” he stated.
He further emphasized the need for continuity in governance and sustained national development.
“In 2027, it is time to do MORE for Nigeria, consolidate on the gains already achieved, and continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Senator Akintunde added.
