The Delta State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, on 21st August 2026, continued activities marking the Nigeria Police Force International Youth Day 2026, an initiative of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, with a walkathon in Asaba. The exercise, held under the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” and in furtherance of the National campaign, “My Future Is Greater Than Political and Digital Thuggery,” brought together police personnel, wives of police officers, youths, children and other participants to promote responsible citizenship, peaceful youth participation and collective action against political and digital thuggery. The program continues on Saturday 22nd August 2026 with at Police officers mess, Police headquarters, okpanam road Asaba with a moderated Police youth dialogue.
