The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has once again earned significant institutional recognition with the presentation of the prestigious Award of Excellence by The Press Society (TPS).
Presenting the award was the President of The Press Society, Elias Abayomi Adagunduro, who, on behalf of the Society’s Executive Council, formally honoured TAT in recognition of “One Year of Purposeful Leadership, People-Centred Governance and Impactful Development.”
The honour celebrates an administration whose leadership philosophy places service, empowerment, community development and responsive governance at the heart of public administration.
According to the citation on the plaque, TAT’s commitment to service, empowerment and community development reflects leadership with purpose and impact, while the award further commemorates “One Year of Transformative Service.”
The recognition strengthens the growing profile of the TAT-led administration and highlights the significance of leadership that translates public responsibility into tangible benefits for the people.
From stakeholder engagement and empowerment to community development and grassroots interventions, the administration continues to pursue a governance model built around accessibility, responsiveness and measurable impact.
For TAT, the honour goes beyond the presentation of a plaque. It represents institutional acknowledgement of an administration determined to make public office synonymous with service, responsibility and development.
