SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Dr Adeyinka Bakare, Dr Titilayo Fowokan, Barrister Felix Ogunmade, DCC Shoyoye Olurotimi, ACC Fabian Adoga, Cyndy Ezeh and many other panelists discussed, NSCDC’S efforts in curbing social unrest and vandalism in Lagos communities …

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, has once again affirmed, his unflinching commitment towards anti – vandalism fight in the state. He said that the Command’s approach towards curbing social unrest and vandalization of critical national assets and infrastructure has been renewed and upscaled, as preparations for the end of year security strategies and tactics have been put in place across all its formations.

The Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro made the above assertions at the Fourth ( 4th ) Edition of the Bi – Monthly Public Relations ( PR ) Clinic, held today, Thursday, 5th December, 2024, at the State Command’s Headquarters, Alahusa , Ikeja.

The theme of the fourth edition, “Curbing Social Unrest and Vandalization of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure: The Role of Law Enforcers, the Government and the Community; NSCDC’S Position and Significance,” promised, to deepen conversations that will de – escalate social unrest, youth restiveness and curb vandalization of critical national assets and infrastructure in all sectors of our collective interests as citizens of the nation and indigenes or residents of the state.

The highly volatile and scary atmosphere and experiences that social unrests such as; “THE END SARS AND THE END BAD GOVERNANCE, PROTESTS,” exposed countless citizens to at the time, could not be understated as some of the speakers at the event today, however, shared the experiences of the lawlessness, chaos, criminality, vandalism, radicalism, untoward and needless deaths, arson, escalated crisis and complexities.

The 4th and last Public Relations Clinic for the year 2024 was graced, by Dr Adeyinka Bakare, Guest Lecturer, Dr Titilayo Fowokan, Lead Discussant, Barrister Felix Ogunmade, Panelist, Ambassador Samuel Eniola, Panelist, Mr Eniola Samuel, Panelist, Dr Mrs Esther Aina, State Accountant and Special Guest, Deputy Commandant of Corps Shoyoye Olurotimi, Panelist, Assistant Commandant of Corps Fabian Adoga, Panelist, Assistant Commandant of Corps Aruwa Kadri, presented summary of the discussion, Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin, Panelist, Cyndy Ezeh, Panel Moderator, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, Convener and many other personalities from Mej Oil and Gas Ltd, MTN and Ikeja Electric, just to mention a few. The distinguished, guests and participants ( senior officers and other ranks ) drawn, from various Departments, Units, Area Commands and Divisions also added ecstacy, colour, impact and intellect to the event.

Present at the event also include; Multichoice Showmax, Lagoon Hospital and Lagos NSCDC Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd, who also participated, to add glamour to the event, today, Thursday.
