


On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Comdt. Maku Olatunde, attended a closed-door service commanders meeting at the 302 Artillery Regiment, Nigerian Army, Onitsha.
The meeting, which aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, was attended by top security officials, including Major-General Oluyemi Olatoye, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army Enugu and Force Commander, Joint Task Force South-East ‘Operation UDO KA, Col. Adamu Muhammad, Commander of the 302 Artillery Regiment, Nigerian Army, Onitsha; CP Ikioye Orutugu, the new State Commissioner of Police, Anambra State; and the Commanding Officer, Nigerian Navy, Odekpe, Onitsha.
Discussions focused on strategies to enhance the security of lives and properties in Anambra State, reaffirming the commitment of security agencies to work together to ensure the safety and well-being of Anambra residents.
