A Review Of Primate Ayodele’s Prophecies On Tinubu’s Government

Primate Ayodele, unarguably the most vocal prophet in Nigeria especially before the presidential election that brought in Bola Ahmed Tinubu into power, made some revelations about this government long before the 2023 election was held.

He became more popular during this period majorly because of what he said concerning what will happen to Nigerians if they allow another APC government to emerge at the federal level. He also spoke about other political parties and their presidential candidates, foretelling what their administrations would look like if they win.

While speaking on the future of their administrations, Primate Ayodele revealed how different sectors would turn out but majorly about the economy and security sectors.

As we know that economy and security are very vital sectors of a nation, this article would be focused on what Primate Ayodele said about these two pillars in relation to President Tinubu’s government.

What Primate Ayodele Said About Nigeria’s Economy Under Tinubu’s Government

In one of his most viral videos, Primate Ayodele was captured saying that if Nigerians vote for the APC government, the economy will run into shambles. He mentioned that Tinubu’s government will wreck the country’s economy. In terms of economic hardship, Primate Ayodele said that what would be experienced under Tinubu’s government will be nothing compared to Ex-president Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure. He made it known that the economy of the country will sink if Tinubu becomes the president of Nigeria.

“I’m not saying anyone should not insult me; I am not scared of any human being. If Nigeria votes APC in 2023, things will be tougher. We will see human beings and want to eat them like food. This is how God told me. I am not saying you should not criticise me or say anything against me, even as an APC member; I warned you in 2015 too. If you want to vote for lies in 2023, if you vote for the party that has a broom as their symbol, I pity churches. I am not against anybody, and I don’t vote. Nigeria will be tough. If you vote and Tinubu enters, there will be serious problems.”

“If Nigerians vote for APC in 2023, the country will sink, we will swim in poverty, and the economy will be in shambles. If the APC wins, Nigeria will suffer extraordinarily. We have not yet seen hardship; if APC wins, the real hardship will come. The economy will be sick.”

In another video in December 2022, Primate Ayodele mentioned that if Nigerians vote for the wrong candidate in 2023, the prices of things will skyrocket. He went ahead to mention what the prices of commodities would look like if Nigeria allows a wrong person to become president.

‘’If Nigeria vote for a wrong candidate, dollar will rise to N1,500, diesel will rise to N1,500 or N2,000, bread of N200 will be N800, cost of living will be high, and I am telling you terrorism will be high, prepaid meter bill will be high and the rate of poverty will be high. This will affect both the rich and the poor, we may get it wrong the way we are going about it, we are getting it wrong.’’

‘’Let God direct us to get the right president in 2023, if we get the wrong president, our economy will fail. I am afraid of the country. This is a sensitive time in our country, making noise will not solve anything at this moment’’

The Current Economic Situation

The current situation of Nigeria’s economy is almost like a perfect representation of what Primate Ayodele said about Tinubu’s government in 2022. There is no place in the country where people are not lamenting. In recent times, there have been protests in different states on the level of hunger in the country. According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Nigeria’s annual inflation rate rose to 29.90 per cent in January from 28.92 per cent in December 2023, the highest since 1996.

Since President Tinubu came into office, the hardship experienced by Nigerians has tripled compared to the administration of Muhammadu Buhari. At the moment, Dollar has surpassed N1,500, bread has become unaffordable because a bread of N200 now costs more than N800, and the cost of living has become extremely high since President Tinubu emerged.

The government has tried to roll out palliatives to reduce hunger in the country but it doesn’t seem to work. The country has failed economically under President Tinubu’s administration just as Primate Ayodele foretold.

What Primate Ayodele Said About Nigeria’s Security Under President Tinubu’s Government

In an interview with Tribune Newspapers before the election, Primate Ayodele revealed that there will be renewed attempts by terrorists to attack military formations. He stated that the country will not be safe and that terrorists are ready to cause a lot of calamities in the country.

‘’There will be renewed attempts by terrorists to attack our military formations. The NDA should be careful. These attempts will be perpetrated between now and the start of the election. The military will kill many of them. Our military should be prepared; these terrorists are ready to cause a lot of calamity. But they will fail. Yet nowhere is safe at the moment. There are forces that are working towards sabotaging this election, but God will not allow them. We must pray against mass protest in 2024. Things will not always be the same.’’

Primate Ayodele to Nigerians: Expect no miracle from whoever wins among the three main candidates

Furthermore, in his 2024 prophecies for President Tinubu’s government, Primate Ayodele made it known that kidnapping will take a new dimension and that insecurity will be on a large scale in the country.

These were his words:

“Kidnap: I foresee that a Commissioner and an aide in a Governor’s convoy will be kidnapped. The spirit of God says kidnapping will take another dimension. Let us pray for all governors in Nigeria that none of them will be bedridden.’’ (https://dailypost.ng/2023/12/24/2024-i-foresee-presidents-assassination-govs-death-attempted-takeover-of-tinubu-govt-primate-ayodele/)

The Current State Of Insecurity

Obviously, Insecurity has taken a different dimension in the country since President Tinubu emerged. There has been a serious rise in insecurity, terrorism attacks and kidnapping especially. Even in Abuja which is the seat of power, people cannot sleep with their two eyes closed due to terrorist attacks.

Way Forward

As we know that prophecies without solution are not Godly, Primate Ayodele did not only accurately foretold the current situation of Nigeria’s economy and security, the man of God has advised the government severally on how to get solutions to the almost hopeless situation.

Last year, Primate Ayodele shared five major points with the president in order to drastically reduce hardship in the country.

“If Tinubu doesn’t get to work immediately and find a way to solve our economic issues, there will be massive protests. The people are crying already, salary earners are not satisfied and it will get to a state where governors will not be able to pay salaries again.

“Government of Nigeria must work on five things in 2024 which can make the country to be great: Stable light, Improve security and buy more weapons, Development of infrastructural facilities, Agriculture (plenty of food) and Create employment.’’
