Muhammadu Buhari: How Primate Ayodele Warned of Ex-President’s Death Earlier (VIDEO)

As early as 5 a.m. on Sunday morning, Primate Ayodele, in his usual manner, commenced the service at his church, INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos headquarters, with prayers for the nation, members, and leaders.

He is known for consistently sharing prophecies and warnings concerning nations, leaders, and individuals during these prayer sessions, as revealed to him by God. Many of his prophetic warnings have emerged during such sessions, including one in 2022 where he foretold the hardship Nigerians would face under President Tinubu’s administration.

While leading these prayers, Primate Ayodele stated that he foresaw the death of a former Nigerian president. He went on to say that following the death of the former president, some former governors would also pass away in the months to come.

These were his words:

“I don’t know, maybe this year or next year, a former president will die, and when he dies, the following month, a former governor will die. The next month will see the death of a former minister. God wants to punish politicians in Nigeria. We are going to witness the death of a former president…”

Just a few hours into the afternoon, this prophecy appeared to come true with the death of Nigeria’s immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away in London following a brief illness.

“The family of the former president has announced the passing of Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah accept him into Aljannatul Firdaus. Amin,” Mr. Shehu wrote in a message posted on X (formerly Twitter).

It should be recalled that in December, during the release of his 2025 prophecies, Primate Ayodele had mentioned that Nigeria would lose a former president.

In the 95-page prophecy document, which included warnings to presidents, individuals, sports personalities, and politicians, Primate Ayodele urged Nigerians to specifically pray against the death of a former president.

These were his words:

“Let’s pray against the death of a one-time military administrator and a one-time president in Nigeria.”

This statement further affirms Primate Ayodele’s prophetic insight into Buhari’s demise.

Beyond Buhari’s passing, Primate Ayodele’s fresh prophecy this morning serves as a serious call to former governors and ministers to commit themselves to prayer and maintain a strong relationship with God, in order to avert a wave of untimely deaths, as the prophet warned.
