All noted that not only they benefitted from the free fuel exercise, but also the enhanced security measures constituted by the monarch in safeguarding the lives of people in his jurisdiction of reign in Ijegun.

The beneficiaries further recounted the celebrant’s contribution to the development of the Ijegun community, which includes streetlight installation, business enhancement capital for businesswomen, catering for the widows, the less privileged and sick persons, and some in-street road projects he funded. Most importantly, Eze Chika ensures that the community residents live in peace with zero tolerance, for there will be no room for intertribal dispute.

In particular, Osemena Amaechi, Jimoh Alao, Onyemaechi Chinonso, Aminu Muritala, and Ilesanmi, also known as the soldier boy, stated that they were surprised that someone would give them fuel during this crucial time. Other coworkers who had previously benefited had also shared stories that seemed implausible until they saw and benefited today.

The secretary of Okada riders at Alado Bus Stop, Ijegun, who’s familiar with the monarch, mentioned that he has witnessed many of his charitable endeavours and is amazed by his generosity and prayed for Eze Chika’s longevity.

Pst Mrs (Amb) Dr Tessy Chika Nwokedi, Ugoeze 1 of Ijegun Ijeododo, disclosed that 2025 is a unique year of the monarch’s customary annual gathering. Regarding the free fuel exercise for motorbike riders, Lolo said Eze Chika made the decision this year to do more for the underprivileged in society by sharing a deeper commitment. She prays for long life, prosperity, and purpose fulfilment.

The celebrant, Eze Chika Nwokedi said birthday celebrations are ways of expressing gratitude for the gift of life, and he has decided to mark his 2025 birthday with motorcyclists riders by putting a smile of relief on their faces of the struggling family men.

Speaking about the significance of his birth, before fortune smiled at him Eze Chika disclosed he was once homeless, He claims during his hardships, friends and family who he depended on for a home abandoned him, so he understands where shoes pinches and will put in his best possible in assisting the less privileges. He claimed that the way God has rewarded him is aptly described by the statement, “Once a beggar, now a giver.”

Eze Chika urged all to emulate the act of giving, he said.

“Some claim to be extremely wealthy, but the real issue is: how many lives have you been able to impact with your wealth? Regardless of the amount in your account, money is worthless if it isn’t used to improve lives.”

“How many people are pleased that you are eating, then? What percentage of people have paid school fees for those in need? What number of lives have you impacted? My philanthropic abilities are not manifested in abundance but rather in the motivations underlying my altruistic deeds.”

“My mother taught me to share what I had and to never overlook the hungry when I was a child. These lessons have stuck with me to this day. I also participated in church (CPM) construction as a young guy for free, which I believe has given me many possibilities and blessed me with much that I must share.”
