Mercy Dennis was one of the very appreciative widows at Eze Chika Nwokedi; The Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun/ Ijedodo area of Lagos’s fourth edition humanitarian outreach for widows, widowers and Vulnerable.
The very young mother of four children was moved to tears during her brief interview with Insight Global News Editor.
Mercy in her 30s whose husband died three years ago was more than grateful as she fought back tears sharing how happy her children will be celebrating Christmas with enough bags of different food stuffs and cash for preferred delicacy
.She said:
” I have not seen this kind of Eze before, Eze Nwokedi is a God sent; I thank God I listened to the person that introduced me to “Okpoko Foundation” God will bless Eze and his family, he will not lack good things in his life. You need to see how my children will be happy if I carry all these things reach house’ Mercy Dennis concluded in pidgin English.
Juliet Ndukwe was another widow who has been a beneficiary of Eze Nwokedi’s humanitarian outreach right from the beginning.
Juliet was left with five children after the death of her husband seven years ago, just like other attendees she was delighted for the collection of enough bags of food different stuff and cash empowerment. Juliet prayers of the Psalmist to Eze Chika Nwokedi was great as she concluded by saying ” Eze is really helping us, he will live long to enjoy the fruit of his labour .

Eze Chika Nwokedi in his brief interview with the Media affirmed his humanitarian outreach will not seize till his last breath!
He said:
“As a young boy of a widow who was bred in poverty, I suffered; I saw hardship eyeball to eyeball, it seems it will take my life but here am I today in affluence and because I have passed through it I knows where shoes pitches, I promise God that as long as I am alive and you are blessing me, I will surely take care of the needy, the widows and the Vulnerable having passed through hardships at a very tender age.
It will be recalled that Eze Chika Nwokedi formally Chairman Ladipo Spare parts market acts of generosity has uplifted a lot of Nigerians regardless of tribe, togue or ethnicity:
Eze, had gifted land, houses to the homeless, empowered the jobless, fueled tanks of motorcycle, tricycles riders in order to makes ends meet in his vicinity and lots.

Chief Martins called Eze Chika Nwokedi an exceptional Nigeria who acted and doll out gifts as directed by his instincts. The chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo of Ijegun listed several genuine generosity acts of the man whom he knew right from their youthful, struggled age .
December 13th, 2025 Eze Chika Nwokedi’s humanitarian outreach for over 200 widows, widowers and Vulnerable will remain fresh in the memories of all attendees for aside the unique presence of a buffet with the order of dine and wine to satisfaction; there were also displayed bundles of Ankara wax, bags of various food stuffs like semovita, rice, tubers of yam, vegetable oils, tomatoes paste to mentioned but few.
Prayers and word of exhortation from the Ugoeze Pastor Amb. Tessy Chika Nwokedi whose Biblical quotations of how God cherries the widows and fatherless put each mind at peace .
Amb. Tessy Chika Nwokedi concluded by imploring the widows, vulnerable to hold firm unto God and believe His words for Him alone can meet their needs.
