The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro has congratulated the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, over his recent award and recognition as the ‘Outstanding Public Relations Officer of the year,’ by People Security Monitor during its 2025 Annual Security Summit and Recognition Award held at the Nigeria National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja, on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025.
The Lagos State Commandant recognized the Command’s PRO during a large management meeting, which comprised management staff, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Operation and Tactical Commanders of the command, at the Conference Hall, Zone 1, Federal Secretariat, opposite TBS, Lagos, on Tuesday, 16th Dec., ’25.
He appreciated the Chairman, Organizing Committee of the above summit and award, Alh Isiaka Mustapha while delivering his speech at the meeting and also gave his nod and commendation to the widely accepted recognition of the Command’s PRO by the creme de la creme in security and communication.
He also presented the distinguished service award of excellence in information management and public trust to the Lagos PRO of the NSCDC, SC Oluwaseun Abolurin .
He further affirmed that the PRO’s award was a testament to professionalism,
integrity, and tireless commitment to public communication excellence
within the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
He said that the award came as a result of hardwork,
remarkable skill in managing information, engaging the media and
promoting public awareness on security matters, which has greatly enhanced the
visibility and credibility of the Corps, particularly under his watch in Lagos State.
