Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Senator George Akume, on Saturday marked his 72nd birth anniversary with a thanksgiving service at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Gboko, Benue State, appearing publicly with his new wife, Queen Zaynab Ngohemba-George Akume Dajoh.
The development came barely 24 hours after a reported public confirmation of their marriage by a member of the family.
Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation OSGF, Segun Imohiosen, in a statement noted that Akume used the occasion to stress that āaccountability among the three tiers of governmentā remains central to sustainable national development.
According to the statement, the SGF insisted that ānational development is a collective responsibility, requiring the synergy of all three tiers of government.ā
