Good afternoon, may I meet you sir ?
I am Sunday Gbenga Omotayo, convener Hotel Managers Africa Conference, I am the vice president Hotel Managers School and CEO TUNDUN Hospitality .
Last Year HORECA Balmoral- Federal Palace Hotel 4th edition was massive; your take on this 5th exhibition?
Yes! Big improvement, venue shit! Landmark is obviously the biggest venue we have for now for exhibition with the quality of lots of conversation going on, exhibitors and those that come visiting there is a lot of improvement. Lot of business going on, people are connecting,people are learning, people are getting empowered as well in the industry.
No networking?
Yeah! Enough networking ( Laughter) ! People are meeting new friends, today alone I have met more than twenty friends and I see that going on within the last six hours, yesterday the same thing ; People are getting to know new business partners, conversation going on around our profession which is very good for the industry and I must say a big thank you to the organiser.
Very impressive right?
Absolutely! Very impressive!
So what do we look forward to in the future regarding HORECA?
(Cut- in) We have to build on this, this is already a good matured market, the jungle is already mature . We have to build on this , we have to make sure we sustain this innovation, we have to keep working , we should not rest and say we have arrived no! We can actually do better, get more halls in landmark for expansion, Increase the crowd , increase the conversations and most importantly sustainability, we want to see this event 10th edition, 20th edition even 100 edition when we must have left the world!
This is the 5th HORECA edition, what has been the strength so far?
(Cut-in) Collaborations ! Collaborations! The organisers understand the place of collaborations , they understand the need to bring people together and work with them. I am a partner, the professional partner for this project and it’s been good resting on Collaborations.
