Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo, a former governor of Oyo State for three months, is dead. Aged 89 He was the Governor in the Second Republic after defeating late Chief Bola Ige in the 1983 election on the platform of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN). Born 14 April 1935, Olunloyo was the first Ibadan man to be Oyo state governor, father to Nigeria controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo. May the great mathematician soul rest in peace.
