In the early hours of today (12:30 AM), a catastrophic multi-vehicle collision occurred on the Odo Iya-Alaro Bridge, ( Ojota/ Maryland axis) tragically claimed one life and severely injured 17 others. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) swiftly responded to a serious accident at under the Ajah Bridge along the Lekki-Epe Expressway. The incident which involved a tipper truck, a Rapid Response Squad (RRS) armored tank, and a Suzuki mini bus (JJJ 257 YJ) occurred at about 4:50 pm on Wednesday the 4th of September, 2024.
