“Agbelebu” is not just a familiar name within the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC); it is a household name, particularly in Agege and its environs.
Comrade Hon. Oluwagbenga Michael Abiola is a reliable son of the soil and a grassroots politician with a remarkable track record of service.
As the preferred choice of APC members and residents of Agege Constituency 01 for the Lagos State House of Assembly, let us be proud of our own: the people’s choice, the chosen one, and a vibrant leader with a strong connection to the grassroots.
Speaking at a recent strategic campaign gathering, the Director-General of the Agbelebu Campaign, Hon. Otunba Olusola Osolana, said:
“We are reaching out to the youths, artisans, market men and women, APC stalwarts, and other stakeholders across Agege Constituency 01. The vote for Michael Abiola in the forthcoming 2027 general election must count.”
Osolana further stated:
“A vote for Agbelebu symbolises accessibility, Inclusiveness and accountability. I am imploring the good people of Agege to vote for the people’s choice for a greater Agege.”
Otunba Osolana, who is also the Director of Mobilisation of the Lagos City Boy Movement, concluded by emphasising the importance of grassroots participation and support for the candidate.
It will be recalled that “Agbelebu,” meaning “Cross,” metaphorically represents conscience, trust, peace of mind, a listening ear, accountability, accessibility, and other positive values.
