The Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has fixed January 13 to rule on the bail application of ex-Queen of Ooni of Ife, Naomi Silekunola, Oriyomi Hazmat and Abdullahi Fasasi.
Naomi, Hazmat proprietor of an Ibadan based radio station, Agidigbo FM, and Fasasi the Principal, Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan were arrested following a stampede where 35 minors died , several Injured during at a Christmas Ibadan funfair in December.
Counsels to the accused had filed a summon of application for bail before the Court.
Justice Olawoyin after listening to the submission and arguments of the Counsels, adjourned the ruling on the bail application till Tuesday, 13th Tuesday, 2025
The suspects are currently being remanded at the Nigerian Correctional Centre Agodi.
