Apart from being the only prophet who repeatedly warned President Tinubu that his government would be fought with insecurity, among other things, Primate Ayodele has been a major man of God, giving wise and spiritual counsel to the president on how to salvage the situation.
We recall that during his annual Thanksgiving programme held in February, Primate Ayodele told the representative of the Chief of Army Staff that there is a need to focus on bushes and forests to prevent insecurity. He suggested turning most bushes across the country into farm areas, as he foresaw a serious insecurity crisis at then but it wasn’t adhered to.
He would even sometimes mention states that terrorists would invade, just like he did some days ago when he said there would still be attacks in Kwara state again, and this was fulfilled yesterday, but the sad thing is, whenever he says these things, those in power don’t listen and they put the nation at a huge risk.
While many of his warnings have been totally ignored by security operatives, it appears President Tinubu has taken to one of the important ones which the prophet shared last week regarding salvaging the insecurity situation in the country.
The prophet had advised, the president needs to order surveillance in states and regions where bandits are operating in order to curb the situation. He specifically mentioned that the air force should be made to move around the areas, just like they do during elections, to prevent more attacks from terrorists in troubled states.
These were his words:
“When there is insecurity everywhere will be in disarray; let the air run their aircraft in areas where we have problems. During elections, we see planes flying around; this should be done in those areas. The IGP, COAS should relocate to these areas where we have problems.
“The DSS is doing well, the officials are proactive to a large extent, but they can’t do it on their own. They should be assisted by other forces to ensure their intelligence doesn’t go to waste.
“It is also not a time for you to ignore any prophecy, either fake or not. These terrorists sleep, they are not spirits, they shouldn’t have mercy on anyone, destroy them.”
In accordance with one of his advice, PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has ordered a 24-hour security cordon around forests in Kwara, Kebbi and Niger states, to link up with the boots on the ground, following a surge in kidnappings and terrorist activities
His directive came as over 20 persons, including a pregnant woman, nursing mothers and children, were abducted Monday evening in a fresh attack on Isapa, a community just five kilometres from Eruku, in Kwara State.
