Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, Member of the House of Representatives for Oluyole Federal Constituency and Chairperson, House Committee on Humanitarian Services, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Chief (Mrs.) Dr. Florence Ajimobi on her well-deserved nomination as a non-career Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In her statement issued in Abuja, Akande-Sadipe described the appointment as a fitting recognition of the former Oyo State First Lady’s years of service, unwavering humanitarian commitment, and distinguished contributions to national development.

She noted that Mrs. Ajimobi’s nomination reflects the value of her long-standing dedication to humanitarian work, women empowerment, and community upliftment in Oyo State and across Nigeria. Akande-Sadipe hailed her as a “virtuous woman with unwavering principles,” a compassionate leader, and a matriarch of the Oyo APC whose calm strength and dignified leadership continue to inspire many.

“As First Lady of Oyo State, she served with grace, excellence, and humility—touching lives, uplifting communities, and setting a standard for purposeful leadership,” Akande-Sadipe said. “Her numerous initiatives—from health outreaches to widows’ support schemes—left a lasting impact that still resonates today.”

The federal lawmaker expressed confidence that Mrs. Ajimobi’s leadership qualities, compassion, integrity, and commitment to unity will serve Nigeria well on the international stage. She added that the ambassadorial nomination is an honour to Oyo State and an inspiration to women nationwide.

“With her deep faith in God and lifelong dedication to service, I am confident that she will bring dignity, wisdom, and her signature compassionate touch to this new national assignment,” she said.

Akande-Sadipe concluded by wishing Chief (Mrs.) Dr. Florence Ajimobi success in the screening process, praying that God grants her continued strength, favour, and guidance in the responsibilities ahead.

“Congratulations once again to a worthy leader. You remain a great example to us all.”
