Nigerian singer Sola Allyson has shocked her admirer most especially Christian believers as she confessed never to be a gospel musician neither an evangelist of the gospel nor winner of souls rather but just a musician chosen by music itself.
Allyson whose recent confession on Oyinmomo Utube/ Podcast had caused a lot of controversies on her artistic identity given her admirer missed reactions said:
“I am not a gospel singer. My name is Sola Allyson,” she said. “Jesus does not need promotion, so I do not have to call His name in my songs”.
Allyson affirmed she is not a gospel artiste but a musician who is endowed with spirituality as a soulful nature of her music.
Allyson revealed her self as an unwanted child by her parents and marital struggles, disclosed she never enjoy marital bliss despite being legally married.
The singer said she and her husband live in separate houses following years of challenges.
“I must confess that I am married, but my husband and I decided to live apart; he in his house and I in mine,” she said. “Marriage has been a big challenge. I hear people talk about joy in marriage, but I have never experienced it.”
The singer added that despite her efforts, the marriage has “not been successful,” prompting their decision to maintain separate homes.
