AGN Abuja Chapter Launches Two-week Masterclass for Aspiring Actors in Movie Industry

Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Abuja Chapter under the leadership of Mayor Mercy Salma Aminu brought a two-week masterclass designed to empower Nigerians and re-training movie practitioners on technical, entrepreneurship skills in the movie industry.

Mayor Salma narrated the effectiveness of the masterclass has an investment in Nigeria’s creative future, noting that the entertainment industry is a powerful engine of economic growth, capable of generating revenue, creating jobs, and showcasing the culture diversity on the world stage.

Addressing media practitioners at a press briefing in Abuja on Friday while unveiling the Masterclass, Mayor described the intensive training as a transformative opportunity for every aspiring actor in Nigeria.

Mayor Mercy in her speech emphasized on Nigeria as a land of immense talent and creativity, stressing that Nigeria stories , culture are vibrant, as well as Nigerians filled with passion. Yet, despite all the potential, many of Nigeria talented actors have not had the opportunities or resources to truly shine on the global stage.

In her words; the masterclass is important and more than just a series of workshops, it is a pathway to empowerment, a bridge to success, and a chance to turn dreams into reality.

Mayor Aminu informed that the program is meticulously crafted to elevate Nigerian talent to great heights.

She enjoined all Nigerians especially the youth to key into the training and for the well-meaning Nigerians to lend their supports for sponsorship regarding the training.
