The traditional institution in Nigeria has witnessed the loss of one of the most prominent kings in Yorubaland, Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, who died two days ago and has been buried.
His death coincided with that of former president Muhammadu Buhari, who is also a known ally of the traditional ruler.
Although details surrounding his death are unknown, Primate Ayodele in his newly released prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations (2025/2026) edition warned the monarch of an emergency situation on his health and life.
The prophecy book, which always contains warnings to presidents, governors, corporate organizations, traditional rulers, to mention but a few, was released on Saturday, the 5th of July 2025.
In the new edition, Primate Ayodele mentioned some traditional rulers and told them what would happen to them in the coming days.
His warning to the Awujale of Ijebuland can be found on page 415 of the book.
These were his words:
“AWUJALE OF IJEBULAND: The monarch must pray for divine protection more fervently. The spirit of God says the king must rebuke an emergency situation on his health and life.”
It would be recalled that Primate Ayodele was credited for warning about the emergence of a new Olubadan of Ibadanland in the book. His warning regarding the Olubadan stool can be seen on page 144 of the book.
“OLUBADAN OF IBADAN The spirit of God says the king needs prayers for long life. I foresee there are things that will change due to his Reforms in Ibadan land. I foresee certain pronouncements from the palace of the king that will be described as very wrong. The royal Iine age in Ibadan land must be prayerful as I foresee the emergence of a new king soon.”
