The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo – Olu ably, represented, by his Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hazmat declared, open the tenth (10th ) African Conference on One Health and Biosecurity on Wednesday, 6th November, 2024, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hazmat, while addressing the theme of the aforementioned, conference; “From Ebola to COVID – 19 and beyond: Strengthening Africa’s Capacity to Address Emerging Global Health Security Threats,” amongst other things called, on researchers, experts and academics to develop solutions based research works, capable of solving local communities’ public health problems for instance in “Oshodi or Abule – Egba,” et al.
The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR was ably represented, at the conference, by Mr Adedotun Keshinro, the Lagos State Commandant. He was also joined, by the representatives of Military services, the Inspector General of Police and the Corps Marshall, Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC ).
