Appeal for Medical Assistance and Overseas Treatment
I humbly write to seek Your Excellency’s compassionate intervention regarding my current health condition.
It has been almost two years since I suffered a stroke, precise November 12, 2024. Since then, I have been receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. I thank Almighty God for preserving my life and for the remarkable progress I have made through medical care and the support of kind-hearted Nigerians.
Despite the improvement, my recovery remains incomplete. I still require intensive physiotherapy, speech therapy, and continuous medication, all of which are very expensive. I am yet to regain my normal speech, I cannot walk for long distances without difficulty, and I continue to experience severe tremors that make it difficult for me to write or use electronic devices.
I remain deeply grateful to all the individuals and friends who have generously supported my treatment, particularly:

I remain profoundly grateful for every act of kindness shown to me. Without these interventions, my condition would have been far worse.
However, Your Excellency, my medical expenses have continued to rise, while the donations I received have been largely exhausted on treatment, medication, accommodation, and daily living expenses. I still live in rented accommodation and face significant financial hardship.
It is against this background that I humbly appeal to Your Excellency to kindly assist me by facilitating advanced medical treatment abroad or providing any financial support that would enable me to receive the specialised care required for my full recovery.
As a lifelong pro-democracy activist and committed supporter of progressive politics, I remain hopeful that Your Excellency’s compassionate leadership will give favourable consideration to my appeal.
I sincerely thank Your Excellency for your time, understanding, and commitment to the welfare of Nigerians. I pray that God Almighty will continue to grant you wisdom, strength, and good health as you lead our great nation.
