Coup Attempt Against Tinubu: Primate Ayodele Vindicated, Shame On Mahdi Shehu

One mistake people make is that they tend to read prophecies like their normal ‘Ralia the sugar girl’ story book, forgetting that they are divine words, instructions from the throne of heaven, warnings to those who care to listen.

Prophecies are not just mere words you read and react irrationally or emotionally; it takes a spiritual point of view to understand the direction of the prophecy, but many, especially in Nigeria, believe they can just rubbish prophecies when they don’t favour them or anyone they are interested in.

The most gullible set of people are now those who think prophecies that don’t favour them are meant to be a form of attack against them, and when they are supposed to act accordingly, they tend to attack the prophet who delivered the prophecies, such a shameful act.

This isn’t new; even in the holy bible, we read of kings, personalities who arrested prophets, attempted to kill prophets because of their prophecies, though they ended up regretting their actions. It’s really wonderful how people find it difficult to maintain decorum when the spirit of God warns them; it just shows the extent to which the spirit of darkness exists in the minds of men.

This character was recently exhibited by one Mahdi Shehu, a self-acclaimed public affairs analyst who tackled Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, for his prophetic warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, regarding an impending coup which will be orchestrated by some powerful Nigerians who are angry.

The prophet had innocently and spiritually called on the president to watch his security details, be careful of his movements, and to avoid an impending interruption of his government. He asked the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Police to be extra cautious about the president to avoid an impending coup.

These were his words:

“There will be an attempt to unseat Tinubu unconstitutionally; the NSA, DSS, and Chief of Army Staff must be careful about this. There are some gangs planning between November to January to unseat him.”

“Even the Navy, Air Force will be part of it, including the Nigerian Army. President Tinubu must be ready for anything and fortify himself. He needs to change his security strategy because these personalities will be unbelievable names.”

In his response to Primate Ayodele, Shehu described the prophecy as a false spirit. He even called for the arrest of the prophet for making such a prophecy. Indeed, Shehu is very ignorant and doesn’t deserve to be attended to for anything because his response simply exposed his folly.

Just imagine the government had listened to the likes of Shehu, who described Primate Ayodele’s prophecy as a false alert? Who knows what would have happened now that the news reports have confirmed an attempted coup to topple Tinubu’s government?

A former governor from one of the southern states is said to be under investigation for his alleged connection to the army officers detained over an alleged coup plot.

Sources who spoke to Daily Trust yesterday hinted that there was suspicion that the former governor financed the alleged plot, which was reported to have been scheduled for October 25.

At least two online news platforms, Sahara Reporters and Premium Times, had, at the weekend, reported that the 16 officers who the Defence Headquarters said were arrested for certain unprofessional conduct, were being investigated over an alleged plan to overthrow President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

This is definitely the prophecy of Primate Ayodele coming to pass in parts; more reason President Tinubu must totally flee from people like Mahdi Shehu because they are looking for his downfall. With this, Primate Ayodele has been vindicated; shame on Mahdi Shehu.
