The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, delivered a lecture titled “Security: A Collective Responsibility – The Roles of Government, Communities and Civil Society Organisations in Security Management” at the high-level Delta State Government Security Summit convened by the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in Asaba.
The lecture held at unity hall Government house Asaba on 17th June 2026, underscored the need for stronger collaboration among government, security agencies, communities and civil society organisations in addressing security challenges and sustaining peace, safety and development across Delta State.
