


The FRSC Lagos Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde Ganiyu Hamzat was honoured by the Fight Against Corruption Organisation (FACO), a Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to eradicating corruption in Nigeria.
During a courtesy visit to the FRSC Lagos Sector headquarters, the Convener of FACO, Mr. Francis Shopekan, highlighted the organisation’s mission of partnering with government agencies to uproot corruption, raise public awareness, and promote transparency across all sectors.
Mr. Francis Shopekan presented the prestigious Anti-Corruption Leadership Award to the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to integrity, transparency, and exemplary leadership in road safety and public service. The convener specifically cited his remarkable track record as the Nigeria’s pioneer Corridor Commander of Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, where he spearheaded decisive operations against one-way driving and successfully coordinated the dislodgement of gas-laden tankers in 2020 and 2021 without compromise.
In his remarks, the Sector Commander expressed profound appreciation for the recognition, describing the award as both a great honour and a call to greater responsibility. He reaffirmed his dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards in service delivery, while continuing to promote professionalism, accountability, and public trust as Lagos Sector Commander.
