The Community Head of Iju- Station of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State High Chief Olalekan Ligali Fagbayi recently celebrated a year as the Baale of Iju- Station.
Baale Ligali Fagbayi ascended the throne of his forebears on the 11th of may, 2024 .
It was a celebration galore as the fourth Baale of Iju-Station was rallied rounded by his chiefs, residents of Iju- station and environs.
Baale Ligali in his brief interview with Insight Global News Editor appreciated God Almighty faithfulness over his life, immediate family and chiefs as Oko Ilu also give kudos to the good people of Iju-station for one love which keeps all together as his reign has known peace.
Baale Fagbayi also blow the trumpet of Ifako-Ijaiye LG Chairman Hon. Hamzat for an open door policy, good collaboration regarding empowerment, good roads and slot of Jamb forms the youth of Iju-station and environs.

Iyalode Iju-station Chief Mrs Awosanyan Kiyesola in her brief interview defined her title as the head of all women in the community, seeing to women affairs traditionally, culturally reeled out activities of successful events regarding Baale Fagbayi’s annual celebration, she appreciated Baale’s stand against violence and open heart policy which was obvious as insight Global News Editor witnessed rejoicing mammoth of crowd dancing to the beats of Yoruba traditional local drums.
Chief Alfred Oluwasegun Salvage the Asiwaju of Iju-station affirmed unity among the residents regardless of race, tribe and tongue ‘ I am delighted to tell you that Iju-station and environs has been peaceful, no intertribal war, or youth unrest kudos to Baale Ligali Fagbayi’ Chief Salvage concluded.
