Keshinro warns Area Commanders and Divisional Officers to exhibit integrity so as not to destroy good cases …
The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, on Tuesday, 18th February, 2025, holds a refresher training on intelligence and investigation, for Area Commanders and Divisional Officers, in the state Command headquarters, situated, at Alahusa, Ikeja.
The training is aimed at charging Area Commanders and Divisional Officers of the command across the state, on how to better deploy advanced intelligence skills to achieve successes in the various operations they are to embark upon.
The Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro attends and facilitates the training personally, before handing over to the Head of Investigation in the command, Deputy Commandant of Corps Olurotimi Shoyoye, to continue other technical sections of the training.
The training lasts, for about four ( 4 ) hours and majors, on practical examples in
(I) Intelligence gathering (II)Investigation / Investigation Report
(III)Handling of cases / Protection of Case files
(IV)Handling / Protection of evidence
(V)Prosecution of cases in court
(VI) Protection of witnesses / victims and
(VI) Inter – agency collaboration during prosecution of cases and many more.
The training also allows for interactive sessions, where participants have the opportunity, to share experiences, ask questions and make their own contributions to the research topics.
The Lagos State Commandant further went to warn the Area Commanders and Divisional Officers to exhibit integrity as a virtue, so as not to compromise very good cases or soil their names in the mud.
