
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos Chapter, has recognized the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Lagos State for its outstanding contributions to road safety and community development in Lagos State.
During a recent courtesy visit to the Lagos Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat, the NYCN delegation, led by Lagos State President, Engineer Adigun, praised the FRSC’s dedicated efforts in promoting safer roads and fostering a culture of responsible driving in the state.
Engineer Adigun highlighted the impact of the FRSC’s initiatives on enhancing public safety, particularly among the youth, noting that the Corps’ presence has significantly influenced safe driving behaviors and contributed to the overall development of Lagos State. He expressed NYCN’s gratitude for FRSC’s continuous commitment to road safety, affirming the Council’s support for future collaborative efforts aimed at furthering these goals.
The visit also opened discussions on potential partnership opportunities between NYCN and the FRSC, with a focus on youth empowerment, public enlightenment campaigns, and road safety volunteer programs.
