Femi Oladele, aka Tallex, the landlord to John Abba, a student of Adekunle Ajasin University at Akungba Akoko in Ondo State, who masterminded the latter’s abduction, extortion and eventual killing alongside the deceased’s friend, Miss Andrel Eloho Okah, equally a student of the institution, has died in police detention.
The murdered students before they had the misfortune of meeting their deaths at the hands of Oladele and two others, one of whom is Ojo Michael while the other is still at large were in 200-level and in the Department of History and International Studies.
The deceased friends were abducted, robbed and murdered by Oladele’s gang.
Report of the killer landlord dying in police custody after his arrest has now been confirmed by the Ondo State Police Command.
The confirmation came via the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Olayinka Ayanlade who imformed the media: “Yes, he is dead. He had been under medical supervision since his arrest and had been in and out of the hospital.
Though the students protested against any hanky panky untill they were convinced.
The decomposing body of Okah has been recovered, we are still searching for Abba’s remains”.
“We urge the public to disregard any attempt to twist the facts. The command remains fully committed to justice. Everyone involved will face the full wrath of the law.” The PPRO concluded.
