The Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) New Era has congratulated the newly elected executives of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
In a statement signed by its National Leader, Comrade Adesina Akinpelu, the OPC New Era congratulated Comrade Yinka Adeniran on his emergence as the Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel, describing his victory as well-deserved.
The OPC New Era, in the statement issued on behalf of its National Elders’ Council, National Executive Council, and National Coordinating Council, also congratulated the recently elected State executives of the Oyo NUJ, headed by the Chairman, Comrade Akeem Abass.
Akinpelu described Comrade Yinka Adeniran is a thorough professional and seasoned journalist who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and dedication to the noble profession of journalism.
The OPC leader noted that Adeniran’s vast experience and expertise in the field of journalism make him an ideal candidate to lead the Correspondents’ Chapel, adding that his victory is a testament to his hard work and commitment to the organization.
“We pray that the new Adeniran-led executives of the chapel will be successful in their endeavors and that their tenure will be marked by significant achievements and milestones. We are confident that Comrade Yinka Adeniran will bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to the table”, Akinpelu prayed.
The OPC national leader also described Comrade Akeem Abass’s victory at the state council election conducted late last year as well-deserved, congratulating him on his achievement.
He maintained that the new Oyo NUJ Chairman has consistently demonstrated his passion for journalism and his commitment to the union.
He expressed optimism that Comrade Abass’ leadership will take the Oyo State Council to greater heights.
He prayed for that the Akeem-led executives will be successful in their endeavors and that their tenure will be marked by significant achievements and milestones.
