…Gives Makinde 48 hours to act or resign
Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has pleaded with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to rescue the children who are in the kidnappers’ den in Oyo State.
The fearless Prophet of God gave the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, 48 hours to rescue the children or resign.
Primate Ayodele took the stance while addressing journalists on issues of national importance, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos.
He took a swipe at the Christian leaders especially the big pastors, whom he said were not doing enough to condemn terrorism, banditry and kidnapping, instead they are following government and being included in government payroll.
He said the children are crying and no one is taking care of them.
He reiterated his earlier insistence that Government should use their tracker, if indeed they have one, to track the kidnapers.
Primate Ayodele said, “I have fought about Oyo State, I have fought about insecurity, they don’t listen to me.
” I have went to Abuja two times to talk to Army authority, you will hear, I am not around, I travelled, meaning that government is interested in insecurity. God sent me to them. I am not a fool, there are things that are secret, but this government has taken us for granted.
“They will say I am yeye, this one is not a prophet, he is APC pastor. I am not answerable to you, I am answerable to my God, my creator, my father.
“I must tell you the truth, some Pastors, they are on government payroll.
“Why can’t they step in and tell the government the sincerity? Then why à
are you doing this. If they kidnapped the son of a minister, or a minister, they will tell you they have a tracker, to track them.
“If they have a tracker, what are they tracking? They are tracking nonsense, they are tracking money. We are talking of small, small children.
Children come and sit around me (all the children in the church gathered around him).
“Where are our big pastors, CAN, what of PFN? They are disgraced associations, disgrace, disgrace, the association is disgrace association.
“Look at this children, the way they are, if someone carries them and keep them in captivity, how will you fill? You see them crying morning and night like this.
“Can you imagine, no. Let’s be realistic. There is blood, cry of blood in this country, nobody bis looking for solution, but they know the solution.
The children in the forest in Oyo State are crying and nobody to look after them, nobody to give them food, nobody to bath them.
Tinubu, do you think you can enter second term? Do you think your second term is certain? The children are crying.
“The children are crying from morning till night.
“Oyo State Governor, if you don’t provide them within 48 hours, resign, resign, enough of these things, the children are crying, they are crying. Enough of all these, find solution, don’t like me ooo, don’t like me. Shame to all these big pastors, shame. I don’t want to confront you, I don’t want to mention your names, I can do it, you can’t do me anything, you are not more than me.
“Christian leaders have failed, you are not united, you can do it, you can stop it.
“President Tinubu, save the children, Nigerian governors save us from kidnappers, Governor Seyi Makinde, stop campaigning, save the children,” he stated.
