The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Safety Signatures Limited, Dr Cynthia Gregg, one of the fastest rising licensed private security guard company in Nigeria, in a statement to the media said that the company’s brand is well positioned to be perceived as one, which supports our laborious security agencies from the Nigeria Police Force ( NPF) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ) and all others just to mention a few. She said that the call on all citizens for a genuine support for our gallant officers and men in uniform, who sacrifice their all to fight heinous crimes even at the detriment of their own lives can not be overemphasized as this amongst others remain what we owe them.
Rather than also being on the complaining side, we as citizens can be better constructive in our criticisms as well as get involved and assist our government in providing intelligence, ideas and financial support to aid increased performance of our security agencies.
The aforementioned Managing Director above further admitted that an act of friendliness is unarguably the way forward. She called on citizens to show kindness and friendliness to security agencies in this time and season where the cloud thickens with so much of darkness so that in the end we can create a new light out of it. On the balance, security agencies should also become closer to the citizens and take on more behavioural approach to solve looming or foreseen challenges before they becloud the people in their inhabitations.
