Insecurity: Why Gov. Sanwo-Olu Must Take Primate Ayodele’s Prophetic Warning Seriously – Wale Lawal

Just days ago, the founder and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual church, Primate Ayodele Elijah, warned that there could be ‘bombing in some strategic states’ in the country. In the same address, he went on to warn that there could bomb scare in Lagos as well. He specifically warned the relevant authorities and security agencies to remain vigilant.

In his address, Primate Ayodele particularly stressed that Lagos state and the authorities must be very cautious about incidents that may trigger panic amongst residents.

“If Lagos is not careful, we are going to see bomb scare in the state, everybody, especially the security agencies, need to be very vigilant,” he stressed further.

The Cleric’s warning is coming in the wake of rising spate of insecurity incidents in many parts of the country. On the surface, it might appear there is nothing alarming yet about the Prophet’s warning. Many might dismiss the bomb scare warning as nothing but a hoax, believing a bomb scare is not the same thing as an actual terrorist attack. Here is one fact everyone must come to terms with – with Primate Ayodele, there is no such thing as a hoax. He never makes prophecies that are not divinely instructed by God. If he has not been spoken to by God, he will not reveal anything to the public.

We are talking about a man who has a compendium of well over 30,000 fulfilled prophecies to his name. Consistently, Primate Ayodele has released staggering prophecies that have shocked the nation at the time they were released and then held everyone spellbound by the time the prophecies came to pass. He has proven time and time again that he is a Prophet called by God, not one driven by the selfish desire to use God’s name for monetary gains. This is why it is important that everyone, particularly the governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and all the relevant security agencies, take this security warning very seriously.

For the records, this is not the first time Primate Ayodele would warn the public and alert the government and its agencies on impending terrorist attack. He has consistently done this for some years running. Most recently, his prophetic warning on Borno terrorist attacks which saw different bombs go off at different locations in the city almost simultaneously, leaving dozens dead and injured, came to pass. The Primate himself is never pleased when some prophecies that are tragic in nature come to pass. The whole idea of releasing such prophecies is to get the authorities alerted and hope that they will be pro-active enough to take preventive steps to avert such tragic incidents. That is what brings him joy. It does not excite him, neither does it revalidate his place as one of the country’s dependable and credible prophets when a prophecy of his comes to pass but sadly involves the loss of lives. He does not need such prophecies to make a point. He is already, without a shred of doubt, one of the nations most popular and respected prophets.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu must pay attention to this prophetic warning on insecurity. He must not dismiss it with a wave of the hand and say it means nothing. Primate Ayodele may have described what he saw as a bomb scare, but in reality, we all know how quickly these things can change from a mere bomb scare to horrendous bomb blasts or attack that could leave a massacre in it’s wake. Lagos state is the economic hub of the country with an ever increasing population of over 30 million people. The last place you want to have a bomb scare or worse still, an outright onslaught against innocent citizens, is Lagos. The panic and pandemonium that would follow would be of humongous proportion. The scale of destruction could be of devastating effect. And what’s more, once a terrorist attack has been successfully carried out for the first time, the terrorists would grow in confidence and find the courage to launch more brutal attacks. So, there must not be a successful terrorist attack in Lagos, whether it’s just a mere bomb scare or a bomb blast, neither must happen in Lagos.

This profound appeal goes to Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, he cannot afford to treat this warning with levity. This is not the time to turn deaf ears to the warnings of a proven and credible prophet of God. Primate Ayodele does not raise false alarm. He will never deliver a message he has not been divinely instructed to deliver. The governor must promptly get the security agencies on high alert and sensitise Lagos residents to be vigilant and report strange movements and unusual characters lurking around their location. This is a situation we must all collectively stand up against. A word, they say, is enough for the wise. Eko oni baje o!
