Happiness was written on their faces, their joy knows no bounds as 180 widows, , 30 widowers and over 40 destitute received Xmas gift of tubers of yam, 10kg of rice, cartoon of Indomie noodles other non perishable items each as well as empowerment fund.
It was a sigh of relief indeed for Juliet Ndukwe, Ifeoma Emmanuel, Anchoru Enuma and others who took time to speak with Insight Global News editor at The Eze Ndigbo’ palace as each beneficiary with tears of joy expresses the impact of such gifts in the home of a widow especially at this very crucial time of harsh economy and expensive food items.
Some beneficiaries were at the outreach for the first time while most of the widows have been on Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun/ Ijedodo area kind gesture list for over years .

In appreciation , all they had to say was to pray whole heartedly for such God sent Eze Chika Nwokedi who held to an high esteem the prowess of charity as it is written in the first Book of Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13.
The event of the 14th of December, 2024 will remain very fresh in Mrs Oluchi’s memory,as a first timer she was available for snaps shoot with her gift, food items at any point , prayed for Eze Chika Nwokedi ‘ s longevity and good health on the throne of his forebears
