Nigeria’s Queen of the rings Elizabeth Osoba has brought smiles to the faces of Nigerians after she won the World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Featherweight Championship in Copenhagen, Denmark

She won WBC world Boxing Congress against, Michela Braga an Italian in round 8 knockout.

This victory was a testament to her hardwork, prayers, and determination to succed, and it solidified her status as a top contender in the boxing world.

She has two belts at hand presently as she had also won the IBO international Boxing Organization in Swindon United kingdom, against Martina Reighi

Elizabeth Osoba’s victory at the WBC championship is not just a personal achievement but a landmark moment for Nigerian boxing and sports in general.

Her success serves as an inspiration to many, especially young female athletes in Nigeria and across Africa.

It represents a breakthrough in the world of sports, where female athletes are increasingly gaining recognition and accolades.

With her historic win, Osoba’s future in boxing looks promising. She continues to train and aim for higher goals, including the main WBC belt.

Her journey is a source of motivation for many aspiring athletes, demonstrating that with hardwork, prayers, and perseverance, it is possible to achieve great heights.

Elizabeth Osoba’s journey from an amateur boxer to a world champion is a story of resilience, skill, and determination.

Her historic win as the first Nigerian female boxer to clinch a world title has not only made her a national hero but also an icon in the world of sports.

A significant milestone in her amateur career was the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where she represented Nigeria in the Featherweight division and won a silver medal.
