It was a renewed of hope lost on Saturday, the 12th of October, 2024 as Dorcas Adeyinka Foundation officially handed over a 3bedroom duplex to Mrs Folashade Olalude, whom and her four children were deprived of their home years back.
Mrs Folasade Olalude in her short emotional speech could not be showered prayers on Chief Mrs. Dorcas Adeyinka whose humanitarian foundation covered her shame and reproaches with a surprise gift of lifetime.
Chief Mrs Dorcas Adeyinka ‘ The Yeye Oge of Ogudu Land is a Nigerian-born British citizen who has been putting in her very best possible in alleviating the plight of the oppressed and less privileges across the globe, most especially in Nigeria.
At the unveiling of ‘ FOLA RESIDENCE’ Ms Adekoya Folakemi who is the manager of Dorcas Adeyinka Foundation revealed the foundation do not only give hope to the hopeless but as well empowers, takes care of orphanages homes, see to patients medical bills, takes care of the widows, gives out necessary tools, wheels chairs to the disables as the three bedroom duplex apartment built by the foundation for Mrs Afolashade Olalude is a way of giving back to the community in meeting people’s needs.
Over time Dorcas Adeyinka Foundation stands tall based on its immense contribution and philanthropic gesture in ameliorating people’s pains and sufferings which distinct her as a foundation of hope for thousands of Nigeria citizens.
The foundation has championed various causes from educational support to business promotion, medical assistance, and palliative relief both domestically and internationally, while her unwavering dedication and selflessness have earned her widespread admiration and respect which has thrown her-up as a symbol of hope to many household due to the present Socio-economy hardship facing us as a nation.
Mr Balogun Ahmed an eye witness, in his words says’ I call on our political gladiators to emulate Chief Mrs Dorcas Adeyinka, a woman of substance whom has been contributing to her country land without thinking of what she will get back from the system.’
