Within 5 days running, prominent Nigerians, from North to South, gathered again, this time around in Comrade Awa Bamiji’s, a leading figure in June 12 Struggle’s, end celebrating their hard earned success of the 13th National Discourse of Coaliton of Pro – Democracy Groups for A Better Nigeria commemorating the 30th Anniversary of MKO Abiola Epetedo Self – Declaration Anniversary during the June 12 Democracy Day Celebration held inside MKO Abiola House, Ikeja.
According to Awa Bamiji, “with this 2nd convocation, Coaliton of June 12 Activists, is saying thanks a million times and Barka De Sallah to millions of People across the Globe for believing in our collective and selfless activities over the 3 Decades as Monday, September 23 Yoruba National Day aimed at celebrating a core Progressive, Elderstateman and Veteran Activist, Chief Lere Paimo, MFR, alias Eda Onile – Ola @ 85 inside Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, at 11am, organised by Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths, is equally loading with your unrivalled sacrifice.
Mr President and the First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria, are the Special Guests of Honour while lecture, ‘National Unity and Agitation for Self – Determination: The way forward for Nigeria”, would be delivered in pure Yoruba Language, by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State. Southwest Governors are Guests of Honour. Prof K.O Adebowale, mni, Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Ibadan Oyo State, is the Host.

While Chief Lere Paimo, MFR, alias Eda Onile – Ola and another Yoruba Actor, Mr Ariyo Adetola Mukhail, a.k.a Lanloyin, were warmly received by the gathering of notable leaders of Civil Societies on arrival, most of whom left for their individual ends shortly before the snapping of the Group picture, another Primaries figure, Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, Kano State, founding father of Arewa Consultative Forum, and Prof (Mrs) Bolanle Awe were represented by Mallam Abraham Abubakar from Sokoto State and Madam Suebat Bakare respectively.
This powerful gathering throws its weight behind instant coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, as Olubadan of Ibadanland and a powerful and strategic Committee was tasked to take up the assignment immediately with the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) and other Stakeholders in Nigeria.
