The Chairman of Agbado Oke Odo Local Council Development Area, Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Ishola Ejigbadero, on Thursday met with the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief (Mrs.) Dr. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, at the VIP Lounge of the Nigerian Air Force Base, Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, where discussions focused on improving the welfare of traders and strengthening economic development within the council area.
The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Agbado Oke Odo LCDA and the Office of the Iyaloja-General, particularly in supporting market men and women who play a vital role in driving grassroots economic growth.
Speaking during the meeting, the Iyaloja-General emphasized that the welfare and prosperity of traders remain paramount. She urged the Council Chairman to continue providing an enabling business environment that promotes growth, peace, and sustainable economic development.
Chief Tinubu-Ojo also appreciated Mayor Ejigbadero for donating a bus to her association, noting that the gesture has greatly assisted members with transportation within and beyond the community.
In his response, Mayor Ejigbadero commended the Iyaloja-General for her exceptional leadership and motherly role toward market men and women across Nigeria. He reaffirmed his commitment to continued partnership with her office and pledged to support initiatives that enhance traders’ welfare and economic empowerment.
The meeting was attended by Senior Special Assistant to the President Daughter on Market and Political Matters Hon. Olaide Oladeebo(Okadigbo) , aides of the Council Chairman, and other dignitaries.
