The Honourable Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai has been recognised as the Commissioner Man of the Year at the 18th Africa International Housing Show ceremony which took place recently in Abuja,
According to the organisers, the Commissioner Man of the Year Award recognises outstanding contributions and leadership in the Housing Sector and the Lagos State Commissioner for Housing was honoured for his commitment to addressing housing challenges, innovative solutions and dedication to providing affordable housing for all.
Akinderu-Fatai, receiving the award, said: “I am humbled to receive this esteemed award, it is a testament to our administration’s tireless efforts to transform the housing landscape in Lagos State, we will continue to work towards ensuring that every citizen has access to decent and affordable housing”.
The Commissioner also dedicated the award to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for giving him the platform and believing in his ability to deliver on the mandate.
The Award was received on behalf of the Commissioner for Housing by the delegation from the Lagos State Ministry of Housing.
Apart from the award ceremony, the 18th Africa International Housing Show also brought together industry experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss housing solutions and strategies.
