The administration of Hon. (Princess) Muhibat Titilola Rufai-Adeyemi in Ojo Local Government has, for many residents, fallen short of expectations. What once appeared promising now reflects growing concerns about performance, priorities, and connection with the people.

Across Ojo, basic infrastructure remains in poor condition.
Roads are still deplorable, drainage systems neglected, and environmental challenges persist issues that should ordinarily be addressed as core responsibilities of local governance.

Concerns about priorities have also been raised, particularly following reports that a high-end official vehicle was acquired shortly after assumption of office.

For many residents facing daily challenges, such decisions reinforce the perception of a disconnect between leadership and the needs of the people.

In the health sector, primary healthcare centres continue to struggle with inadequate staffing, poor facilities, and limited medical supplies.

In addition, people question her education background because she can’t even speak English clearly, people’s questions have emerged around communication and public engagement. Many residents feel there has been limited direct interaction with the press and the public, with a lack of clear, confident, and consistent communication on key issues affecting the local government.

Similarly, public schools operate under substandard conditions, with little visible effort to improve learning environments.

Environmental sanitation efforts have been inconsistent, with recurring waste management problems across communities.

Occasional clean-up exercises have not been translated into a sustainable system.

Youth empowerment, a critical area for development, has also seen limited impact, leaving many young people without meaningful opportunities for growth and engagement.

Beyond these sectoral challenges lies a broader concern: leadership visibility and accountability.
Effective governance requires presence, responsiveness, and measurable impact qualities many residents feel are lacking.

Overall, the situation in Ojo reflects missed opportunities and rising dissatisfaction. The people deserve more than promises; they deserve tangible results.

Without urgent and decisive action, this administration risks being defined by its inability to meet basic expectations.
