As part of his continuous commitment to inclusivity, the federal lawmaker and Chairman of the House Committee on Works distributed handicapped tricycles, crutches, and walking sticks, providing vital mobility aids to physically challenged individuals.
Hon. Akin Alabi’s initiative, which included the distribution of crutches, walking sticks, and One hundred pieces of handicapped tricycles, was a significant gesture aimed at enhancing the mobility, independence, and dignity of PWDs. Hon. Ronke Adedeji, APC Woman Leader in Egbeda, pleaded for even more support for PWDs and women in the future. “Our people with disabilities need more empowerment. I humbly plea to our leader to include PWDs and women in all future initiatives, and we will continue to stand by him,” she said.
