Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths, was founded in October 2001 inside Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan (UI), Ibadan, Oyo State, with the blessings of prominent Yoruba Sons and Daughters in both Afenifere and Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE) as well as their bosom friends from far North, General Buba Marwa (Rtd) and then sitting Governor Buka Abba Ibrahim of Yobe State, now late.
Our Objective was to join hands with progressive Elders within and outside Region for the promotion of Unity, Peace and Progress within Yorubaland and this exactly is what we have been doing selflessly for over 2 Decades.
Therefore, It’s a dream comes true with the announcement of the plan by the President through Chief of Staff to Mr President, Rt (Hon) Femi Gbajabiamila, to inaugurate Southwest Development Commission in the Region, during the Saturday All Progressives’ Congress (APC), Southwest Confrence held inside Eko Hotel, Lagos Island, Lagos State.
This will ensure that Southwest development is at par with that of Other Regions in Nigeria. It is a right move in a right direction and we must therefore praise Mr President for this initiative, congratulate the Southwest Leaders for being alive to witness this historic event while we dedicate it to sweet memory of the late Heroes and Heroines of Democracy.

For Prince Tajudeen Olusi, MON, OON, 88th Birthday Celebration, a Book titled, TAJUDEEN OLUSI: GLIMPSES OF A PRINCE AND POLITICAL VISIONARY @ 88, authored by Pastor Taiwo Gbamila, SSA to the Governor of Ondo State on Multimedia and foreword by His Excellency, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Military Administrator of Lagos State and former Governor of Osun State, will be presented on Sunday 13th October, 2024 at the Arcade, Eko Club, Eko Club Close, Off Bode Thomas Street, Surulere, Lagos State by 2:00pm, as we expect eminent Nigerians to storm the venue.
In a solemn mood, we mourn late Mrs Olusola Ojiwusi (Nee Ogunkeyede), a retired school headmaster in the Lagos State teaching service and younger Sister of APC Chieftain in Ife/Ijesa Zone, Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede (JMK).
She passed on last week after a brief illness. She would have been 63 by December.

By God’s grace, the funeral ceremony of Late Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, OFR, former Oyo State SSG under late former Governor, Alhaji Lam Adeshina will commence on Wednesday, 16th October, 2024, with a commendation service, holding inside International Confrence Centre, University of Ibadan (UI), Ibadan, Oyo State, by 3pm.
