The Olofin Apesin Olode, Olota of the Paramount & Ancient Ottaland, Awori Kingdom, His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Abdukabir Obalanlege Ph.D, MCIPR, MPRII, FHEA (Lanlege Ekun II, Arole Iganmode) rejoice with adherents of the Christian faith across the country, particularly the Aworis for this year’s Easter celebration, a season celebrated every year by Christian faithfuls reflecting on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his special Easter message, His Majesty enjoined Christians to celebrate the moment in gratitude to Almighty God for the exceeding grace, particularly for the survivability and the gift of life despite the economic challenges currently facing us a nation, among others.
However, His Majesty urged Nigerians to take the advantage of the season to further pray for the nation in surmounting the situation in our collective bid of living a better life.
